SANCTUARY SUN BOAT III

Style, comfort and refinement are reflected throughout, with white and ecru tones combined to create warmth and depth. This elegant Egypt cruise boat accommodates up to 36 guests on three, four and seven night cruises.

About The Nile River
The Nile was the lifeline of ancient Egyptian civilisation and today the banks of the river are dotted with ancient tombs and temples.
Lying 420 miles south of Cairo, Luxor is the most dramatic historical site in Egypt – and is often referred to as the world’s greatest open air museum. Luxor is the modern day name for Thebes, the ancient capital city of the New Kingdom Pharaohs. Today, Luxor is home to more than half of Egyptian antiquities and is a must-see destination for any visitor to Egypt.
Aswan is the “Jewel of the Nile”. Pink and grey granite thrusts upward through the Nubian sandstone, forming mountains, cliffs and jagged outcrops. The Nile runs clear and cold here, and endless waves of golden sand swirl against its banks.

PROMENADE DECK
NILE DECK
The Sanctuary Sun Boat III’s luxury Nile cruises depart from either Luxor or Aswan (downstream from Aswan to Luxor or upstream from Luxor to Aswan).
In Luxor the dock is situated in front of Karnak Temple beside the floating police station while in Aswan the dock is found in the new corniche beside the Aswan New Bridge. We recommend flying from Cairo to either destination. The flying time from Cairo to Luxor is 1 hour, and from Cairo to Aswan it is 1 hour 30 minutes. Driving to and from Luxor or Aswan is not usually recommended as it would require a police escort and the driving time is both long and tiring – approximately 12 hours from Cairo to Luxor, and 15 hours from Cairo to Aswan.
