Welcome aboard Safira, the sapphire of Maldives. The name Safira is a direct translation of the gem stone sapphire in Portuguese. She is a stunning 43.3m luxury yacht based currently in Maldives. Designed by Swiss architects with minimalism at its core. Recently some major renovations and changes were made to the internal workings of the yacht in order to cater to the climate and conditions of Maldives. The final result making Safira one of the most comfortable yachts in the Maldives today.
All cabins are equipped with en suite facilities. Besides the exceptionally spacious main saloon, the yacht also has two bars, and offers indoor and alfresco dining. Numerous seating and lounging areas on main, upper and sun deck. With two State Rooms, six Suites designed to invoke relaxation, you will feel refreshed and ready to start every day. Safira offers generous accommodations for 18 guests as well as two cabins for support staff.
We took our time in assembling a well trained international crew that can cater to the needs of all our clients. Our chef is capable of producing culinary masterpieces. Our captain is well established and has many years of seafaring experience.

DIVING IN MALDIVES

For those divers interested in getting certified, we have many different certification levels. For those that just want to experience a dive, our intro dive package offers everything you will require. Our PADI certified instructors will guide you to the depths.
Our dive itinerary has been designed by professional divers to showcase some of the best and most exotic dive spots Maldives has to offer. With years of experience, we offer divers the opportunity to dive in the northern atolls. Shipwrecks and mantas in abundance, these lesser known dive spots are ready to be discovered. Join us as we scale the depths and experience diving onboard Safira.
Surfing and Paddling
Got a surfboard or stand up, the crew will make sure you are never too far away from those postcard-worthy waves you’ve always dreamed of. During the last decade, surfing in the Maldives has attracted many surfers from all over the world. The same swells hitting Indonesia deliver the goods to the Maldives except that the latitude is a little higher and the SE exposure has less energy. There are three main surfing areas;
- The North and South Male Atoll, the surf season runs from April to October during the South-West Monsoons. The bigger swells run from May to August with 2 to 8 ft waves on offer all season.
- Central Atoll standard waves are long and clean with size varying between 2 and 8ft as well. During southern hemisphere winter (April-October), it’s pretty much never flat.
- Southern Atolls right at the southern point of the Maldives are best for surf from February to April and from September to November, there are always waves in the area but the winds become very strong at other times of the year.
Fishing
Fishing has always been the lifeblood of island nations and the Maldives is no different, this place has been dubbed the ‘fishiest’ places on the planet. Pelagic species are often the favourite target although there are a lot of reef and shallow water species that will give you a run for your money like Bonefish, Barracuda, Groper, Snapper and the king of fish, the Giant Trevally. Cruising the deep waters along the outside of the reef Yellow fin Tuna, Dogtooth Tuna, Dolphin Fish, Wahoo, Sail Fish and Marlin all cruise these waters. If you want to fish make sure you bring plenty of your favourite lures.
The Charter begins in Male and ends in Male, unless your chosen itinerary requires alternative airport.

SURFING IN THE MALDIVES
We have got waves that you seriously cannot miss and Maldives is a Surfers Paradise. Our boats are designed in a way that they could handle those amazing waves and are truly seaworthy. We could take you from Male’ Atolls, Central Atolls, Southern Atolls till the very Deep South. If required, we also have well experienced and well versed Surf Guides.
If you are into surfing or SUP’ing you need to bring! It’ll have to be around 9’2 max with some airlines claiming up to 9’8. Check with your chosen airline before booking your flights.
Whether you are a novice, have had some experience on a surfboard or you’re an advanced surfer, we have something for everyone.
The best time to surf in the Maldives is May to October.

Island Hopping is included in all types of charters provided by us. From taking our guests to Local Fishing Village, experiencing local island culture and our Maldivian Cuisine such as Maldivian Tea, our guests are ensured to get all-round Maldivian Style hospitality.
