Travel backroads, red-gum forests, and station trails through Yanga National Park and classic Riverina country before crossing into South Australia for three nights aboard Custom House Houseboats — cruising the Murray and reaching the remote MacCabe Corner by tinny.
Finish your journey at Goolwa, where the mighty Murray meets the Southern Ocean — a fitting end to this epic overland adventure. Raise a glass to Sturt’s men, who once rowed all the way back upstream in search of the river’s source.
