The strongest and best storage solution on the market. Made in South Africa these boxes stack and stay stacked no matter the terrain. I have never ever lashed them down on top of each other and they have never come apart. Between our two vehicles we have a dozen of these Bush Company boxes and over the years I think it is fair to say we have given them toughest of tests. If you're looking for a functional, strong and good value for money product these are it.I was first introduced to these storage boxes in Africa so I was very pleased when I found them available here in Australia through Dean at The Bush Company in Queensland.Dean and his family manufacturer high grade roof top tents, awnings and storage solutions at their factory in South Africa.
We have been running KONI shocks on our vehicles for years and currently have them fitted to a Landcruiser, Patrol, Hilux and a couple of muscle cars. Why? Because they are simply the best conventional shock on the market. They were the best 20-30 years ago and still are today. You can have shocks as big as you like with remote reservoir canisters but at the end of the day it is the internal valving that makes all the difference. More so than even spring rates when it comes to ride quality.Put simply, springs keep are car off the ground while shocks keep it on the ground. As a kid I remember play equipment at the local park, a used car coil spring with a seat on it, if you know what I mean you get the idea when I say this is what it'd be like in your car without shocks. There are few shocks on the market that will control a spring, keeping the car connected to the road with a combination of ride quality and performance like a KONI shock. When the going gets tough, long distance corrugations being the worst, KONI shocks will perform as well as any remote res shock and dissipate heat just as much heat with out the need for having additional hoses, fittings and canisters vulnerable underneath your vehicle. Not to say that remote res shocks are bad, in general you get what you pay for, we like to keep it simple where we can and KONI shocks do that for us. In general, touring vehicles do not need a race bread designed dual canister shock if you invest in shocks like KONI. If you're building a trophy truck for Finke, fine. Custom, long travel remote res shocks are essential. In my humble opinion, a good quality mono tube shock on a touring vehicle is all you need.
I've been running Terrain Tamer Parabolic Leaf Springs over four years on the Hilux and LC79 and I would not run any other leaf spring. We've put them through the absolute ringers, I don't think anyone could possibly give them the same treatment over a few years. The TT Parabolic carries load as good if not better than a traditional leaf, the ride is better, flex and travel is better and they're lighter. Inn short, they are bloody great and I highly recommend them.Terrain Tamer offer them for a wide range of vehicles including GVM upgrades.Parabolic Leaf Springs typically contain fewer leafs than traditional leaf packs and get their name from their tapered “parabolic” design, meaning they are thicker in the centre and thinner at the ends. Already a well-established idea in the trucking industry, Terrain Tamer have applied their own carefully researched design and modern technology, and use a special grade steel to develop their range of Parabolic Leaf Springs specifically for 4WD vehicles.

We've been running on Mickey Thompson rubber for a few years now with multiple sets of the discontinued ATZ P3 which have since been replaced by the now, Baja Boss.I'm (Trent) on my second set for the LC79 and Hilux and I won't be swapping them out anytime soon. It is fair to say that my tyres get a real drubbing, I run them lower than most for extra grip which is easier on my drive train and all with excessive weight over extreme terrain for extended periods. Some say I might do 5-10 years of extreme off road travel for a fairly serious touring customer in one year.I love the side biters, flexible strong side wall and grip. None of the off road tyres are going to be as quiet as standard O/E fare on 200/300 series Landcruiser but you'd never be allowed on one of our ours if you had them on either. To get the most out of my tyres I don't replace them all every year, doing what I do I generally invest in four tyres a year. Obviously an average punter is going to get more out of their tyres. Remember this is commercial use and by no means are they stuffed after a year, I rotate them onto the trailer and into spares. And I personally never rotate my brand new spares (if I have them) into the mix until I have too.Generally when it comes time to for a new set I'll have one or two brand new or close to brand spares on the truck to throw into the mix. My priority is for the tow vehicle, utilising the two best used tyres onto my trailer while collecting myself one or two carcasses as emergency spares for the guide vehicles when I end up with them.As a matter of fact, my trailer still has at least on old Mickey Thompson ATZ P3 fitted to it right now. The tyres on your van do not succumb to anywhere near the same treatment as your vehicle tyres, so next time your due for a set on the truck consider throwing your two best second hand ones onto the camper and keeping one or two as spares if possible. Get the rotation going and your pocket won't hurt so much when you're up for a full set of eight...ouch (4x vehicle, 2x trailer, 2x spares)

We've been running MSA products for almost 10 years and have put them through the ultimate test of endurance. We recently removed a set of MSA seat covers that had been protecting leather upholstery for eight years. They were like new underneath. We also run with MSA mirrors on the 79 series. After trying both major brands there is no doubt we prefer the MSA mirrors, they're more compact for tight scrub, look better and way way stronger than anything else. We even lay the 79 on it's side which landed on the RH mirror, pushing it in and breaking the divers window. The mirrors were fine!
We've tried a lot of mounts and variations to carry out MAXTRAX, after a lot of trial and tribulation this is the only roof rack mounted system we'd recommend. Australian made, high quality well designed product. With the RAZED folding mount the pins are protected from tree branches in the bush (I've destroyed two sets of pins this way) and when you're home discretely folds away to give you room for undercover parking. Brilliant product. The most versatile Maxtrax mount on the market today – the MX-360 – is the perfect addition to any setup. Install North-South or East-West using the same bracket while having the ability to fold the pins down to reduce your vehicle height when not in use. This new design incorporates a wide variety of mounting points for greater positional flexibility.** Pioneer 6 Platforms will require the use of Rhino Zwiflocs to fix to channels ( Not Included )
Love it. Another functional, simple, accessible, well designed, strong Australian made product. If you're like us we're getting our shovel off every night for a camp fire in the bush, this mount makes it super easy to get too, mounts to most roof racks and accepts multiple shovel holders.
